How to transport a shuffle board
Transporting a shuffleboard can be a bit challenging due to its size and weight. However, with proper planning and some assistance, you can move it safely. Here are the steps to transport a shuffleboard:
- Gather Supplies: You'll need some moving supplies, such as furniture blankets, straps, bubble wrap or packing foam, and a dolly or hand truck.
- Measure the Shuffleboard: Measure the length, width, and height of the shuffleboard to ensure it will fit through doorways, hallways, staircases and in the vehicle you plan to use for transportation. If you don’t have a van or a pickup truck you can schedule a pickup and drop-off with one of FlasHOLR Drivers.
- Disassemble (If Possible): If your shuffleboard table is designed to be disassembled, do so according to the manufacturer's instructions. This will make it much easier to transport and reduce the risk of damage, specially when going down the stairs. 4. Protect the Surface: Cover the playing surface with furniture blankets, bubble wrap, or packing foam to protect it from scratches or dings during transport. Hire packers and helpers to get the job done faster and efficiently.
- Secure the Pucks and Accessories: Make sure all pucks, cues, and other accessories are securely stored in a bag or box. You can tape the bag or box to the side of the table to keep everything together.
